Pleas respond to this peer post and ask a After reading The King of Sharks it’s hard to believe which one is actually the trickster. I’d say the King of Sharks is the trickster as he transforms to a handsome man and gets this beautiful woman to become his wife. Then I believe the wife is the trickster hiding the King of Sharks and her son Nanave from the villagers. Nanave could also be the trickster as well as he was tricking the villagers into telling him where they fish so he could go get the fish first. Older people have a thing for the youngsters and love talking to them, so naturally they would strike up a conversation with Nanave. Life is a vicious circle where we all think the King of Sharks is actually the trickster when in all reality Nanave, his mother and the King of Sharks are all tricksters. The cycle starts with The King of Sharks tricking the beautiful woman to become his wife and then his wife of course tricking the villagers about Nanave being just a boy, but she was simply protecting her son as any mother would, and then Nanave tricking the villagers to get the fish before they could.
