Goal: Review the protocol for common side effects from the GI medications that we have studied What to Do: Please respond to the Prompt below in the Discussion tab of Canvas. Prompt: Please communicate a time (in your personal experience) when you assessed a “side effect” occurring in either your patient in the clinical area or a family member from a medication that had been administered. If you have not had this experience, discuss an example that you read about or was conveyed to you by another nurse or student. Please included: the circumstances, the medication and how you assessed that this was indeed a side effect from that med., what you did to assist this person and the resolution (if there was no resolution, what would you have like to have seen happen).
