Physical exam reveals an erythematous, tender mass approximately 7 millimeters in diameter on the right cheek. It is hard and tender, but does not seem to be fluctuant at this time. PLAN: The patient was instructed to use warm soaks frequently and was given a prescription for tetracycline 250 milligrams four times daily. He was instructed to see Dr. Smith in two days.
