respond to the following in a professional email: Thank you all, I did not see this patient personally, but was contacted by Brittany as the situation was occurring. After speaking with Dr. Sabrine and coming up with a plan, I was then contacted by the front desk staff to ask about next steps. It was at this point that I asked if anyone took pictures of the lesion. I was unaware that anyone brought the patient back to the office to take pictures. I also believe that a good plan would be to follow up with the pediatrician to see their take after the child was in to see them. The situation is difficult especially in this population. Although this appearance could be abuse in nature, this population of patients is susceptible to many illnesses and genetic predispositions and abnormalities. I just want to make sure we have enough information before moving forward with anything. With this being said, I also think it would be beneficial to have training with the staff in the offices on how to handle a situation like this. The father became very suspicious and annoyed because his child was brought back multiple times and the
