Mrs. J is admitted with a change in mental status. Her family has noticed many changes in her behavior this past week. She was found wandering around her neighborhood without any shoes on. When her daughter called on the phone, Mrs. J kept asking, “Who is this?” She is unable to state the date or name of the current president. She is unsteady on her feet and needs assistance getting to the bathroom. She is having some difficulty feeding herself (which the family is unaware of being a problem).
