Martha suffers from a rare phobia of paper clips. Her phobia is so sever that she regularly sees a therapist and takes prescription medications to treat her anxiety over paper clips. One day, Jimmy is working with Martha to separate stacks of paper into sections. Martha complains that the air conditioner keeps blowing the top sheets off of her stack. In an attempt to help, Jimmy grabs a handful of paper clips and tosses them towards Martha’s side of the table so she can secure her papers. Martha has a massive anxiety attack and has to be hospitalized. Did Jimmy assault Martha?
