My short-term outcome is for my target population to have a 40% increase in understanding of the importance of applying clot prevention devices for shoulder surgery patients from my educational in-service by week 7. My long-term outcome is that my staff uses this knowledge, by applying clot prevention devices for 90% for all shoulder surgery patients within 8 months.
