Pharmacokinetics is the study of movement of drugs in the body. One useful measure of pharmacokinetics is the maximum concentration (CMAX). Maximum concentration provides information on the peak concentration of a drug in the blood after it has been administered. A pharmacokinetic study conducted on intravenous infusion of Acetaminophen among healthy patients up to the age of 60 measured the pharmacokinetics parameters for children, adolescents and adults. The study revealed a mean Acetaminophen CMAX for children of 27mg/ml and a standard deviation to be 7 mg/ml. Suppose the CMAX for children who participated in the study is normally distributed. [Source: OFIRMEV (Acetaminophen) Retrieved from https://www.rxlist.com/ofirmev-drug.htm#description] Calculate the approximate CMAX for children that corresponds to the 80th percentile. : A) 32.88 B) -21.4 C) 0.84 D) 28.6 E) 21.6
