Mrs. Lane, age 70, has had an evaluation and treatment with Dr. Care. After finishing the treatment, the physician asks you to help the patient because she is having knee pain. She was given an injection in the knee. A Velcro® knee support was ordered and applied, and she will be given an assistive device. As Mrs. Lane sits up and you stand in front of her, she quickly slides off the table onto one leg and starts to fall forward. Mrs. Lane is assisted back onto the table, and you explain that she needs to stay there until she gets the knee appliance and assistive device. Mrs. Lane is instructed to return next week and be reevaluated. As Mrs. Lane falls forward, what should be your most appropriate action? Group of answer choices Move your foot forward to stop the fall. Widen your stance and guide her to the floor. Call for help. Grab her by her clothing. Grab her around the waist and step forward.
