This 44-year-old male presents with a chief complaint of back pain. HPI: The 44-year-old gentleman states that he went fishing Wednesday. He did not fall or injure himself, but Thursday he was feeling quite bad with right flank pain radiating into the back of his leg and into the testicle. He stated that he had no change in the color of urine and that the pain actually started to subside. Friday, he had another recurrence of pain, and it gradually worsened and stayed with him. Today, it was much worse, he was unable to work, and he came to the urgent care center for evaluation and treatment. The patient walks leaning to the right where his pain is. He has a significant amount of difficulty in hyperextension and also forward bending. It does not hurt too much to bend to the right, but it hurts quite a bit to bend to the left. He has a lot of tenderness in the sacroiliac region and also in the superior rim of the ilium and the sacrum. X-rays of the area appear normal to my eye. The radiology report is not back at this time. PLAN: We will treat him with Tylenol
