I am enrolled in the FNP program here at Molloy. In 3 years, I see myself graduating from Molloy and working towards taking my licensing exam to be a board-certified FNP. I would still be working as a staff nurse at that time. In 5 years, I see myself working within a pediatrics clinic, possibly even alongside my Pediatrician! In 10 years.. hm… I would assume I would still be in pediatrics building lots of meaningful relationships with children and their families. But, who knows! I’ve recently been interested in Neurosurgery so I might find myself somewhere that focuses on the human brain. As a provider (or a nurse), you are required to be part of a massive group for each patient. Everyone’s opinions matter because everyone sees things from a different point of view. My goal for this course is to build on my communication skills and be more open to others’ opinions as it can essentially be something I have missed when assessing my patient. I believe this is a beneficial skill not only in my professional life but my personal one as well. Comment positively to this respond
