We dont hesitate to dress to impress or even be the nicest version possible just to be able to have a shot/chance. So when working in the health field when you have to take into consideration other peoples feelings, attitude can be the keen difference from having a compliant patient versus an angry and non compliant patient. Now appearance is important no matter where you go but even more so at work. Imagine having a healthcare worker having old clothes on with stains from yesterdays day of work. That not something a professional health care worker consists should do. Conduct in the health care field equals patience. Simply that. Everyone has bad days we’re all human so dont be suprised when someone decideds to turn some of that energy towards you, but making sure that YOU realize that it has nothing to do with you and your conduct is how you control the situation will be the difference how a patient might have a postive or a negative imagine on the health care worker.
