Talkative Patient Create a scenario depicting an interaction between an NP and a client. Describe the setting and type of encounter. E.A. is a 50-year-old female who presents to the clinic because her blood sugar levels have been elevated for the past 2 weeks. E.A. is an established patient and has been coming to the clinic for 3 years. As the nurse practitioner (NP), I ask “What brings you in today?” She begins by saying that she has had an increase in thirst over the last 3 weeks and increased urination at night which prompted her to check her blood glucose levels more often. She explained that she has found them to be above 200 both fasting and after meals. She then goes on to explain that she attended her daughter’s baby shower around the same time and remembers eating lots of food that she shouldn’t have eaten. She feels this might have triggered her high blood sugar readings. She then goes on to explain how wonderful the baby shower was, all the gifts her daughter got, and about everyone who attended. She also voiced how she was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her new grandson. She voices some concern
