rephrase: Great post! I notice that most states/cities have the same issues. Mental health, food insecurity, and health inequalities diffidently are seen more in big cities such as LA. AS you stated that looking for solutions with require a big intervention from multiple entities. You had great propositions for all 3 issues. You brought up a great point regarding implementing the program diffidently need to be culturally sensitive and accessible for all. Per CDC most racial and ethnic minorities group have higher rates of poor health and disease such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, asthma, heart disease, cancer and preterm birth compared to the white patient. CDC stated that a white individual life expectancy is 4 years more compared to a Black/African American individual. CDC further stated that to prevent health disparities Communities can prevent health disparities when community- and faith-based organizations, employers, healthcare systems and providers, public health agencies, and policymakers work together to develop policies, programs, and systems based on a health equity framework and community needs. Definitely theirs is a need for policies to recognize these disparities when implementing programs for the communities.
