explain Female genital mutilation is considered abuse in Unites States but in some parts of Africa and middle east, female circumcision is still being practiced and it is culturally considering for hygiene purpose but WHO has stated that these practices has no health benefit, rather has harmful health consequences such as bleeding and infection. As per WHO fact sheet, 2023, more than 200 million girls and women alive today have undergone female genital mutilation among young girls from infant to age 15. Currently female infibulation is considered human right violation and extreme form of discrimination against girls and women.
