7-year-old comes in with mother regarding possible ear infection. She also has been having abdominal pain. No fever or chills. Left ear slightly erythematous. The right ear is more erythematous than left. PERRLA, unremarkable. Abdomen, bowel sounds present, non-tender, no rigidity. Abdominal x-ray performed was negative. Will provide script for Erythromycin for otitis media, bilateral. Mom should watch for further symptoms regarding her abdominal pain and return if worsens.
