The patient, a 14-year-old-male, with known congential honeycomb lung and type 1 diabetes, was admitted with labored breathing and lower extremity edema. Recently, his oxygen requirements had increased significantly. He was also running intermittent fevers and he began to consume large amounts of liquids. With diuretics, the pitting edema was reduced. His congestive heart failure was no longer decompensated (acute). Antidepressants were added to his medications to help control his anxiety, icd codes which is due to his physical condition. The insulin dosage and type were adjusted. He was discharged home in stable condition.
