What type of studies this? Objective: to assess the effects of music therapy on pain score and anxiety level of cancer patients with pain. Method: patients were allocated for test group. The Control group non-randomly. The test group patients were subjected to music therapy for 20 minutes while the control group patients with kept occupied by talking to them for 20 minutes. The numeric rating scale (NRS) was used to assess the pre-and post-intervention pain score and the Hamilton anxiety rating scale was used to measure the pre-and post-intervention anxiety scores in the two groups.
