15 yo female presents with indigestion and RUQ abdominal pain x6 months. Pain goes from cramp-like to sharp, stabbing and burning which interrupts pt’s sleep. Abdominal exam presents BS4Q and is negative for appendicitis and gallstones. Conjuctival rim pallor and palmar crease pallor suggest anemia. Vomiting at least once a day and experiences pain with ingestion of food. Slight weight loss. Has small, loose, dark brown speckled stools. Impression: Gastritis, PUD Name 3 reasonable differential diagnosis for this case (not including PUD or gastritis). Please give the reason why you are including them as a possibility. What information helps to rule in or rule out (key features) each possible diagnosis when making this DDX list?
