Congestive Heart Failure CAD Atrial Fibrillation Chronic OK, both knees Patient is admitted with chest pain. Has a past long history of atrial fibrillation. Arrived to ED short of breath with chest pressure. She was administered nitroglycerin, however, the pain did not resolve. EKG showed atrial fibrillation but with a well-controlled ventricular rate. White count, H & H, and INR were normal. CPKs and troponins were normal. Patient admitted, felt to have unstable angina. No evidence of MI, Chest pain was resolved prior to discharge, and patient felt stable to be discharged at this time.
