Patient was admitted on 07/01 for a planned low transverse c-section due to arrest of descent. She is at 40+ weeks gestation, and it was felt that a c-section was appropriate at this time. She received a continuous lumbar epidural and the c-section proceeded without incident. A viable male infant was delivered with Apgars of 8 and 9. Mother and baby were taken from the delivery room in satisfactory condition. On day 4 mom and baby were discharged in stable condition. Mother to follow up in 7-10 days for staple removal.
