The young mother who had little prenatal care delivered triplets this morning at Sinclair Memorial Hospital. Triplet A is a girl whose gestational age is 27 weeks and birthweight is 750 grams. Triplet B, a male, was still born. Triplet C is a male who weighed only 650 grams. All were delivered vaginally, but because the mother nad a urinary tract intection, there is concern about the two living infants developing sepsis. Both are started on antibiotics. Both infants have many problems requiring care. Triplet A: sepsis due to Pseudomonas. respiratory distress svndrome prematurity, feeding difficulty, and diaper rash.
