She reports full medication adherence without side effects and an improvement in dysphoria following dose increase, saying “I’m about 50% better, but still having trouble with wanting to get out and do anything.” As the PMHNP, you: a. Understand that 50% improvement is equivalent to symptom response. b. Decrease 40mg to 30mg dose, as you suspect the patient is experiencing apathy secondary to supratherapeutic dosing c.
