A nursing consultant from the regional office of The Laurels chain visits the nursing facility and is horrified by the lack of integration of technology into the daily care that the nurses provide the residents. The consultant sends a memo to the facility administrator advising the adoption of tablets as point-of-care devices. The administrator likes the idea and implements it.
