Can you reply to this classmate? Hello Class, my name is Chassity Lopez, I live in Knoxville Tennessee with my husband, and our 4 children. Our oldest is 12 years old, then we have 2yrs, 3yrs, and a 4-month-old. The 3 oldest are all boys and our youngest is a girl! We are very busy; we both work full time plus some and run our oldest son around to soccer about 5 days a week. I started this journey in hopes to better my knowledge of the nursing practice and grow to better serve my patients and community. As far as nursing theories, I do not think we have utilized them to the best of our ability at my current facility. I think that with the current staffing issues that we are a lot of times flying by the seat of our pants in a sort of “survival mode”. However, as far as what I have learned in my past studies there are a lot of great nursing theories out there. One of the ones that stands out to me particularly is Peplau’s Theory of Interprofessional Relations. This theory is aimed for individuals who are receiving nursing care, and the
