Kylie is an Enrolled Nurse working in the general medical ward. She has a long-term patient Shaun who Kylie feels comfortable with. Shaun asked Kylie to bring him coffee from the Hospital Cafe as he cannot go out of the ward. Kylie obliged and brought a coffee for Shaun, as she felt sorry for him. Kylie offered to bring lunch for Shaun on her day off work and as time passes, Shaun and Kylie’s relationship becomes more personal because they have similar interests. Kylie starts spending time with Shaun after work and on her days off. They also send each other text messages, chat on the phone and become Facebook friends. The relationship started with one cup of coffee and has now developed into a friendship.
