o A history of community service to the Community (a broad overview as well as a history of community service in your local community). Also, provide at least three examples of volunteer community service projects that you could implement in your home community (polypharmacy med list reviews, wellness clinic, public/open forum educational session, etc.)
o A discussion of your role in health policy, health advocacy, and population health in your community and how you can get involved in the process.
o A list of volunteer organizations available in your specific community to engage in community service (AA, Churches, Fire Departments, Clinics, Etc.). Choose a member within your community to discuss a plan to improve your area. Discuss your choice and give a rationale for your choice. Please be specific. You are not required to meet with this person for this course project. But this person will be your point of contact if you wish to continue your community work after completing the course.
o Conclude with a reflection on your responsibility as a BSN prepared RN, to provide community service in your local service area and how you plan to go about setting up the community service work with the volunteer organization.
