JT is a 36 year old African American female who presents to your primary practice today for yearly physical evaluation. Patient states that for the past two months she has been experiencing routine bouts of fatigue and generalized weakness. She states that nothing has changed in her daily routine. She denies symptoms of shortness of breath and vertigo. She reports she has some strange cravings for ice chips lately and the occasional swelling of her tongue.
