Mr. Lee is admitted to the home care for wound care due to atherosclerosis of the legs with multiple resulting ulcers of the bilateral lower legs on the bilateral ankles and lower calves. The referral from the wound center reports exposure of adipose tissue in all ulcers. Dr. Brown visits with patient in regard to location and severity of wounds. Patient suffers from Atherosclerosis of the native arteries in both lower extremities. On the right extremity an ulcer of the calf as well as the ankle are observed. The left leg also has two chronic ulcers; one located in the area of the left ankle and the other in the area of the left calf. All ulcers are chronic and are due to the patient’s atherosclerosis.
