The patient states the sensation begins on the left side of the chest and then spreads through her entire body, progressing into a forceful “pounding” feeling. The patient states that the episodes seem to begin when she is involved in her college studies or other times when she is feeling overwhelmed. The patient states that these episodes begin suddenly, without warning and typically last for a few minutes. The patient expresses that the episodes cause her to shake. The patient expresses this is affecting her sleep as she stays up worrying, concerned for health. The patient denies pain with these episodes but states it makes her feel SOB and nervous. The patient denies prior episodes or known cardiac issues. The patient does express feeling a large amount of stress from nursing school and being a single mom. The patient expresses she has tried taking melatonin to aid in sleep but denies other medications
