72 y.o. male with history of minor stroke (CVA) with full recovery 3 years ago. Came to the hospital with severe hypertension. He was admitted 4 days ago. He tells you, “I feel so silly, I need help going to the bathroom because I feels so woozy and dizzy. ” You assist him with his bath and as you bathe him, you note his feet are cold. It is hard to palpate pedal pulses. You notice swelling of the feet and ankles that extends to 3 inches above the lateral malleolus on each leg. He has a postural BP of 146/80, radial pulse 80 and 128/66, P.70. He reports he is dizzy when he sits up too fast
