HPI: Patient is a 55 year old African American female who presents to the office today with a chief complaint of a lump in the left breast that she found in the shower about a week ago. She says the lump is located in the outer upper quadrant and it feels like the size of a pea. She doesn’t think that she can move it around. She denies any breast tenderness or pain. She denies any skin changes or nipple discharge from either breast. Denies ever having breast surgery or a breast biopsy.
