Rephrase. The ethical dilemma that I experiences in work was we received a referral for hospice for a patient from doctors office office manager. Pt was a widowed female referred for hospice service. During SW initial visit pt disclosed that she was does not have any family or children her husband is deceased. Sw noticied on the referral it stated to call office manager from the referring clinic and her husband as the patient primary caregiver. The patient disclosed during Subsquent visit that the primary caregiver and her husband was stealing from her and that the Administrator had disclosed to the office manager/ Primary caregiver that the patient call the hospice agency to request the office manager /primary cargiver be removed from her case as a primary cargiver.
