The biologic theory is the one I choose to review for NG’s case. I feel like it is the most science-like, based on the objective and subjective content. The Barthel Index allows the breakdown of all the ADLs we would expect the patient to do. Looking at this I scored her an 85; She has poor mobility and is depending on a walker and lift chair. She is also having issues with stress incontinence, so she is showering several times a day due to accidents. NG has had surgeries on her right eye as well, so she is having vision issues along with obesity, diabetes, and hypertension. Her aging is by physiological aspects that have happened over time for her. However, I feel like her environment and lack of proper nutrition she may have been able to slow down these issues by receiving the proper healthcare to help her. She is isolated and doesn’t have access to the resources she needs. NG has some support, but not as much as she needs. Her living with her daughter would be better for her, however, her daughter would have to suffer to make that work, and that isn’t fair to her. The
