怎么回复这个同学？Hello class, For this week’s discussion, I decided to review the strategic plans of a hospital from my hometown and the hospital where I am currently stationed. One similar thing I found both organizations to include in their plans was to improve the community’s access to care. CalvertHealth’s fifth strategic initiative is to “ensure access to community hospital care that exceeds expectations (CalvertHealth, 2024.”) The Shannon Medical Center’s first strategic initiative is to improve access to care by connecting patients with the appropriate health services to improve delivery of care (Shannon, 2024.) One of the differences in the strategic plans is that CalvertHealth is focusing on building community relationships by focusing on culture and competence, building their primary care network, and addressing shared needs such as transportation and home care (CalvertHealth, 2024.) The Shannon Medical Center is mainly focusing on educating its community on how to live healthier lifestyles to prevent conditions such as adult obesity (Shannon, 2024.) “A strategic plan is a tool that moves your practice toward a goal you have set (National Library of Medicine, 2009.”) Once the organization decides which direction it wants to go, the strategic plan is brainstormed and initiated to assist the organization in accomplishing goals such as establishing a positive culture of competence or educating the community on healthier lifestyles. The healthcare system differs from other businesses because it is the one system that is essential to everyone’s well-being.
