 It feels like an exciting journey to start my NUR 4945L BSN Practicum, which is a key step in my nursing journey. I can feel the excitement building, but I also feel a hint of anxiety because I know this experience will help me transition from being a nursing student to a licensed nurse. nursing school is very very taught, especially for anew mom, i want to deal with my baby with my homework with my tests, its a realy hard time on me, also s my ensligh second language, i came in 6 years only and i learn my English here , so the life teaches me that practice makes a person perfect, so im dealing as i learn English by practice I will deal with my skill with practice. i know that this semester I will face patients, nurses, doctors, and family patients alone without my professor with me or my classmate, as i used to at the beginning of my semester, and that itself very changing for me because this is my first time when i came in America I will work or practice and dealing with different more cult, so the thing about me that I’m very open mind and i always think before doing anything , now what I’m expect to learn from my clinical how to apply my knowledge and my critical thinking in situation i will face in my patient . also, i need to become more confide to talk with my patient, and to create trust between us, as the nurse i will work with honest and empathy with my patient, so the only thing i want to be more confidant when I’m taking to my patient and to be stronger to deal with difficult situation. so, i hope from this course to move me from shy student to more confidant and strong nurse.
