7-year-old with sore throat with difficulty swallowing and headache for the past several days presents to the physician’s office. Not improving regardless of aspirin, Tylenol, and gargling. Exam: Patient is afebrile. She has retro TM fluid on the left ear which is symptomatic. The right side is normal. She has a considerable amount of oropharyngeal inflammation, with small tender anterior cervical nodes. Lungs are clear to auscultation, heart, regular rate, and rhythm without murmur. Impression: Strep Tonsillitis Will treat with antibiotics, bedrest assign code(s) for physician services
