Highlight the assessment findings that indicate the medication (albuterol/ipratropium) was effective. After the nebulizer, Jack rested for 30 minutes and was breathing better. Jack reported he is no longer feeling shaky, and his heart rate returned to baseline. Assessment findings include productive cough with thick yellow to brown sputum, no dyspnea as noted by no use of accessory muscles and no tripod or orthopneic (positional) breathing. Chest remains barrel-shaped and neck vein distention is slightly improved. His lung sounds are still slightly diminished but improved from baseline and are free of wheezing. Pitting remains at 1-2+ to bilateral lower extremities.
