There are a lot of ways that menthol marketing puts African Americans at higher risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and cancer. The HeartSmarts program is designed to reduce CVD risk in African Americans. How would you integrate at least one insight or lesson learned from each article (i.e., at least one strategy or insight from the faith-based program and one strategy or insight from the tobacco industry’s marketing efforts) into an intervention to reduce CVD risk among African Americans?
