Rock Mark Johnson

Disabled child and young adult, needing no hospitalizations or surgery until he was admitted to the CMC hospital on March 10, 1987, primarily for dehydration. His appetite had been very poor. Rock is also declared legally blind; however, eyeglasses do not help him. He was examined at Londonderry eye and ear, and it was their declaration that he was legally blind. He has never walked without some sort of assistance. He used to use crutches; now he can only crawl. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson state that Rock teeth have not been attended to for many years, and that his gums have been bleeding. The problem was transportation-getting him to and from a dentist- as they could not lift him in and out of the car.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson say that, in their opinion Rock is a well-adjusted individual. Rock will not tell you what he is thinking, they say. With a little patience and time, they say one can find out what Rock is thinking. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson say there are no alcohol or drug- related problems. There are no psychiatric- related problems.
