Inferential analysis is a “statistical test to determine if results found in a sample are representative of a larger population” (Houser, 2018). This type of analysis is used to identify the link between intervention and outcomes. By taking a sample such as a random sample of a population, trying to draw a conclusion about a larger population based on a smaller group is the basis of inferential analysis. I feel the best way to identify and visualize this data would be a bar graph. What are other best ways to visualize inferential analysis data? Please explain more about inferential analysis and its importance to nursing practice. Include references. Thank you.
