I agree with the statement although I feel from my personal experience the nurses I’ve worked with were properly trained and educated. The reason I agree with the statement is because there are more viruses and diseases that appear as time pass so continuing education may be beneficial to an nurses career. Covid is an example of how an new illness can arise and cause nurses to adjust. When Covid arose it caused everyone to adjust there daily habits and nurses to have to be more precautionary then usual that was not due to lack of adequate preparation of nurses. I would not say that nurses lack preparation by any means we are trained to the best of our ability by the best but continuing education could always help. The level of education required to be an level and high we go through years of schools and test to prove we have what it takes to be beneficial in this healthcare world and we do so everyday so education level of the nurses is not an issue nurses should learn about the new illnesses regardless of position. I agree with the statement but If they aren’t no new diseases arising then there’s no need to for further train the nurses due to them being properly educated and trained universally.
