The instructor will locate an Occupational Therapy-related article within the last 5 years, a QUANTITATIVE article that has a treatment (intervention) for older adults that had suffered a CVA (stroke). The instructor will fill out a CAP template. The instructor will also demonstrate on a word document a thorough understanding of the article, posing and responding at least 8-10 questions for a journal club. A journal club the student will demonstrate in class with his peers. The understanding of the article will comprise of posing questions to classmates and being able to answer those questions as well. It should be as follow: 1. introduction of the article (demonstrate a strong understanding of article and topic of choice-Effectively includes relevant theory within the discussion). 2.(Students create strong, insightful questions that encourage critical thinking from peers-Maintains student engagement throughout the entire time). 3(stating what frame or reference was used and why it was used).4. ask questions and answer the questions about the design type, level of evidence, inclusion and exclusion criteria, limitations, strength, and results of the article.
