Beckie,
Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs (PDMPs) are the main reason used in the United States to address prescription drug abuse. We (1) compared opioid use pre-and-post-PDMP implementation and (2) estimated differences in PDMP impact by design study of opioid prescription claims in US states that implemented PDMPs relative to non-PDMP states during 2007-12. They set Florida, Louisiana, Nebraska, New Jersey, Vermont, Georgia, Wisconsin, Maryland, New Hampshire, and Arkansas, USA. The outcomes were monthly total opioid volume mean daily morphine milligram equivalent (MME) dose per prescription and the number of opioid prescriptions dispensed (Moyo et al., 2017).
If you do not have a DEA permit, you should immediately submit proof to the Board. PDMP would submit evidence to the Board if you did not renew your permit. If you have never had a DEA permit, you should submit proof to the Board. You fail to register or turn in proof of registration to the Board or fail to submit. It may be possible to take public disciplinary action against your license. The disciplinary action may be permanently on your record.

Queenetta Strickland,
In North Carolina, The collaborative practice agreement may be more structured than required by Nurse Practitioner rules but may not be less structured or contain less than required by the regulations. The following questions and statements will help guide you as you write your Collaborative Practice Agreement.
I agree that there is a shortage of physicians. Ninety-five of North Carolina’s 100 counties have an unmet need for prescribers. In contrast, only seven have an unmet need for no prescribers, and these counties have inadequate numbers of prescribers as well. The state would need about 980 more prescribers.

I agree and understand the point of view under the supervision of a physician is. It is sad and will stressful when we start to practice. Georgia is one of twelve states with Restricted Practice like my state North Carolina (American Association of, 2016). State practice and licensure laws restrict the ability of NPS to engage in at least one element of NP practice. State law requires career-long supervision, delegation, or team management by another health provider for the NP to provide patient care. Nurse practitioners in Georgia are required to practice under the supervision of a physician. A “nurse protocol” requires NPs and their medical supervisors to collaborate. The physician authorizes the NP to undertake medical actions and agrees to be accessible for consultation. This supervising physician is referred to as a “delegating physician” under Georgia state law. One NP and one MD must sign a nurse protocol agreement in practice with numerous doctors and nurse practitioners. All medical activities done by the NP are held legally liable by the delegating physician in Georgia. Delegating physicians are only required to be accessible for consultation and not practice onsite with the NP. Each nurse practitioner must have a protocol agreement in the practice.
