EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT NOTE Patient came to ED with a laceration of her right lower leg. She was getting prepared for work this morning, and the laceration began to bleed heavily, so she presented to the ED. It has not bled significantly, but she is requesting it be sutured closed again. VS normal, right lower extremity, there is an elliptical laceration over the right calf, however, it is rather superficial and does not require suturing at this time. The wound is steri-stripped and she was advised to return if she has further problems. Assign code(s) for ED physician services. ICD-10-CM: CPT:
