Suggest improvements in this process to maximize therapy time and minimize delays. Current system: Patient sees a physician, writes and order for PT, then patient sees a PT, gets an evaluation and schedules 1 hour appointments for 8 weeks. Once the patient comes to the clinic, they check in and wait in the waiting room. An aide from the clinic will come out and get a patient for their appointment. Warmup exercises are done prior to doing the therapy for 10-15 minutes. Then the therapy exercises are done for about 30 minutes. Once completed, there is a cool down and the patient goes home after 10 minutes.
