I am feeling very anxious about interacting with patients. I am nervous about walking into a patient’s room and communicating properly and effectively. I am nervous that there is something I will miss completing in an assessment, or that I will freeze going into the room. I am also nervous about patient’s receptiveness of a student nurse. With all that aside, I am looking forward to applying what I have learned in class and lab into a real-life situation and getting to experience interactions with patients. responce Showing patients that we are unsure of what we are assessing is something that both instructors have talked about and remember you can wash your hands dozens of times. Filling out the paperwork on just a little that we did get on Friday was a challenge for sure.
