In this discussion, you will integrate knowledge from the last week by scoring and interpreting each validity scale and determining the validity configuration of your volunteer client’s profile. To do so, you will: Determine the validity of your volunteer client’s MMPI-2. Once you determine that an MMPI-2 profile is valid, you must identify interpretable elevations, spikes, two-point codes, or three-point codes in the clinical scales. Select the highest interpretable clinical scale in your volunteer client’s MMPI-2. Then look for the next highest clinical scale elevation in your volunteer client’s MMPI-2. Determine whether it qualifies as a two-point or three-point code type.
