I earned my BS in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA in 2003, and since then, I have spent the last 20 years working in oncology clinical research. I can also attest to that personally. Healthy eating makes it easier for your blood to circulate, less cholesterol, less trans fats, and reduced risks for chronic illnesses. Meditation may be one of the least invasive but most important aspects of a healthy lifestyle. It is one of several ways to reduce stress overall. It can also improve physical, not just mental, well-being (AHA, 2024).
