Baby Boy Gabriel a 2day old full-term born by NSD has poor sucking and easily gets tired when breast feed by his mother; He was diagnosed with congenital heart defect probably AV septal defect. His condition has a risk for inadequate nutrition so enteral feeding was ordered. The following actions should be performed by nurse Isabel prior to NGT feeding EXCEPT. A. Check patency of feeding tube B. flush tubing with 30-60cc water. C. Auscultate for bowel sounds D. Observe for abdominal distention
